Service To The Profession
Strong Pipkin seeks leadership roles in legal professional organizations at the local, state and national level. Strong Pipkin attorneys have served as Directors, Officers and Past Presidents of the Jefferson County Bar Association and the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association, and served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Bar Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. A Strong Pipkin partner served as the President of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.
Our attorneys support local pro bono efforts, and are frequent speakers at CLE seminars across the country.
Service To The Community
Our tradition mandates that we recognize that with the privilege of practicing law comes the obligation of service to the communities in which we live. We seek leadership positions and service in civic, charitable, church and youth related organizations. Strong Pipkin attorneys have twice been awarded the Volunteer of the Year award by the Jefferson County Bar Association. Firm attorneys have also been awarded the Chris E Quinn Community Service Award and the St. Thomas More Award for Community Service. A Strong Pipkin partner served as Chairman of the Board of the Houston Area Parkinson’s Association. Several have served on the Board of Directors of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. Attorneys have also served on the Boards of Some Other Place, Beaumont Chapter of the American Red Cross, Beaumont YMCA and All Saints Episcopal School. A partner has served as pro bono counsel for Beaumont Main Street for several decades.
